Headteacher's Message 11/10/19
I’m writing this having just returned from the school harvest festival at the church. An eclectic mix of singing, art, poetry, dance and stand-up comedy was enjoyed by all! Many thanks to all the parents that supported with walking up to the church and returning – it was wonderful to see so many of you. As a school we recognise the importance of school visits as a key element of the curriculum. We have many short (and longer) trips that take place over the year – we look forward to the support shown this morning continuing over the year. Next week the school is being represented and the Community Pride Awards having being shortlisted for ‘school of the year’. A number of parents nominated us due to the school’s response to the burglary in May last academic year. Whether we win or not, we continue to be proud to be part of the supportive Dringhouses community – we’ll keep you posted!
