Headteacher's Message 14.02.20
The first half of the term has been completed – we are well on our way to spring. As we look forward to some brighter weather, it seems appropriate to share with you the plans for the premises over the summer. You will be aware that over the last few years, the school (with considerable support from the LA) has been working to ensure the building is developed into a light, comfortable learning space – fit for purpose. The development will continue this year with the school’s reception (and administration offices) area moving to the end of the school where Class 11 currently is. This will support health and safety with no visitor to the school crossing the playground. Also, the security of the reception area can be more easily managed. As a result of this, the library will move into the current office – extended into the reception area, so releasing another classroom. The Out of School Club will also rent a space from the school – this will involve reconfiguring the area near the Early Years classrooms. Again, the LA is supporting these works for the benefit of the school community. Have a lovely half term break with your friends and family. We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 24th February.
