Headteacher's Message 25.10.19
We’ve had a busy couple of weeks in school! Attending the Community Pride Awards was a real privilege. It was wonderful to be nominated by parents and then shortlisted. Many congratulations to Headlands Primary school for winning school of the year. Thank you also to those parents who came to the ‘Big Talk’ presentation last week. It is key that parents engage in the development of the Relationships and Health Education in school. The feedback was excellent with many parents appreciating the opportunity to consider what their children are being taught in school and how they can then follow up at home. The school is currently revisiting and refreshing the PSHE curriculum to ensure it is in line with the guidance that becomes statutory from September 2020. We break-up for half-term on Friday with a FODS ‘Spooky cake’ sale at the end of the day. Enjoy a restful break and we look forward to welcoming our families back on Monday 4th November.
