Headteacher's Message 29.11.19
It is still November, however the odd reference to Christmas is beginning to creep in – I can’t believe it is just three weeks until the end of term. We have the reception and KS1 nativities to come, along with the KS2 Christingle. Sprinkled amongst those key events will be the Christmas Fair (Friday 6th), Secret Shopping (Tuesday 17th), the Reception ‘Crafternoon’ (Wednesday 18th) and the annual gathering to sing carols with the church choir at the Marriott (Wednesday 11th). We are going to the church for our Christmas service on Wednesday 11th – thank you for all the help you have given us in the past however we don’t need any parent volunteers to walk with the children this year. We can just about fit all the children and staff into the church! There are plenty of other ways you can support the school though, listening to readers and supporting FODS to name a couple. Finally, thank you for all your messages regarding my news this week. Please be assured that the governors and LA will work to appoint the right leader for Dringhouses – and there is plenty of time to do this.
